Years of managing teams from 5 to 40+ members working simultaneously on different locations of the planet, all towards a common goal. We’re SCRUM Agile certified.
What is Project Management?
Project management is the application of proofed processes, methods, skills and knowledge to achieve specific project objectives, according to the project acceptance criteria within parameters previously defined. Project management has final deliverables that are constrained to a finite timescale and budget.
What is Scrum Agile?
Scrum is a framework in which people can address complex problems, while productively and creatively deliver products of the highest possible value.
This tool is a lightweight framework that helps people, teams and organizations generate value through adaptive solutions for complex problems. Scrum co-creators Ken Schwaber and Jeff Sutherland have written The Scrum Guide to explain it clearly and succinctly. This Guide contains the definition of Scrum. This definition consists of Scrum’s accountabilities, events, artifacts, and the rules that bind them together.
In a nutshell, Scrum requires a Scrum Master to foster an environment where:
- A Product Owner orders the work for a complex problem into a Product Backlog.
- The Scrum Team turns a selection of the work into an Increment of value during a Sprint.
- The Scrum Team and its stakeholders inspect the results and adjust for the next Sprint.
- Repeat
Why sportsbooks need Project Management?
Because the Project Management as a whole is a service that concentrates around delivery. On daily basis we make sure that projects in progress meet your company business targets, and that they are aligned with main goal. We can cover from the financial governance, risks and issues management all the way up to resource planning and, generally speaking, making sure that all the team is on track with anything that the company is committed to.
Part of this service is to constantly connect with the stakeholders and keep them up-to date with project progress, including successes or impediments that arise on the way. The most important part is being close to the team as their support and their go-to person. Resolving any issues and challenges that come on any teams’ ways is always top priority and it always comes first. After all, it’s people who form the company and without a Project Manager, they wouldn’t be able to deliver.
In general, Project management duty consists of dozens of little things that need to be done to keep our projects moving. Successful delivery happens when all little pieces come together. Basically, that’s the essence of what we offer – we make them fall into right place.
